Ben's the man!

We went to visit Ben and Nicole in their awesome new house last weekend (in conjunction with a visit from Sheree's mom Chris and brother Ellis). Part of being married to a member of the Swenson family is having to visit some kind of tourist type attraction. They suffer from some kind of compulsion, I don't know what it is. So, after we had breakfast, the topic of "what are we going to do?" came up. Ben thought for a moment, then suggested we head to Camden to see the USS New Jersey. My initial reaction was "lame!". Ben told me to shut up, "it'll be all right". So after walking around the battleship for an hour or so, we headed up to the top deck, where there was a BREW FEST! Fifteen local micro breweries with three to five FREE beers each.

As you can see, a good time was had by all!

Life

Just saw a blurb in the news about this guy. His name is Jeff Hanson and he was a rising star in the Minneapolis indie-rock scene. Apparently he was found dead in his new apartment after falling and hitting his head. He was 31.

I'm writing this because, like him, we have so much ahead of us, so much to expect from life. But, life is short and unpredictable. Live life like you mean it, and be thankful for what you have, because you never know. Life is fragile and short, then its back to being space dust.

So, BIG LOVE to all who care enough to check in on our little family's blog! Bigger love to everyone who helped us along the way. Biggest love to my family. (Jason)

mustard

Upon request, I gave Jackson a post bedtime snack of hotdog, ketchup, mustard, and cheese. A few minutes later, he came trudging into the kitchen shouting the following:
"hep"
"wa'er"
"hep"

I guess the mustard was a little spicey. Oops.
